Studio Etiquette
Welcome to our healing arts studio. Please be so patient, and review our guidelines.

Reception Area

-Be mindful of how loud you are speaking. Remember, people may be either in class or in the healing
room and we don't want them to be distracted.
-Please, put your cell phones on vibrate.
-Always arrive at the studio a few minutes earlier, to sign in and be in class on time.
-Remember to register or sign in at the reception desk, upon entering the studio.
-Remember to remove your shoes before entering the studio.

Studio

-Wear loose fitting clothing that you feel comfortable in.
-Avoid wearing perfumes, as some people are allergic to them.
-Please remove your shoes before entering the studio.
-Arrive to class on time, so not to distract the people that are already in the room.
-Hang up your belongings in the closet that is inside of the studio.
-You may use one of our mats or bring your own mat, or purchase a mat in the boutique.
-If you feel any discomfort or pain while working out, let the instructor know.

What you should do before class

-You should avoid eating at least 2 hours before working out.
-Remain hydrated throughout the day. It is recommended that you drink at least 6-8 glasses of water
per day. This will improve blood circulation, increase energy, radiate skin and hair, flush out toxins.
-Make sure you have on comfortable fitting clothing to workout in. The studio has one bathroom, so
there's limited space to change. It is recommended that you come with your workout gear on. Or
come to class earlier to change in the restroom.
-As your traveling to the studio, put your negative thoughts and worries to the side. -Begin to open
yourself to having a positive experience. Smile when you come through our doors.

During Class

-Keep yourself focused on the task at hand.
-Don't compare yourself to the other students.
-Remember this is a process. You may not see results at that moment. This is an opportunity for you
to learn to be patient with yourself.

After Class

-Retrieve your belongings from the closet and quietly exit the studio, as another class may be waiting
to enter.
-You may purchase a water or fitness drink from the boutique, to rehydrate yourself before continuing
your day.
-Congratulate yourself for utilizing your energy towards something positive.
-Make the intention to practice as much as you can throughout the week to achieve results.
-Tell a friend about the positive experience you had with us, and send us your blessings.

Recommendations

-It is recommended that you partake in daily meditation practices to focus the mind. -Physical
exercise should be done at least 3 days a week for optimum results.
-Engage in activities that provide joy and peace of mind daily.
-Be aware of aspects of yourself that you'd like to improve. Set short term goals and fulfill them. If
you fall back into the same habits, regroup and start again.
-Do not wait for your potential. Your potential is now.
